A municipal school program open to other cultures, which organized and funded jointly lasconcejalías of Education and Social Care, participate in intercultural activities that are taking place in primary schools and secondary schools of the town during this week and will continue to the next.
In this line, coinciding with the celebration of World Book Day, CEIP Hannibal place on Friday April 23 opening of the Intercultural Library, an act that will take place at 10.45 hours and will be assisted by the Director General Promotion, Management and Innovation in Education of the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment, Carlos Romero, Councilmember of Social Care, Antonio Calderon and the Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto.
This will have organized activities of tellers, tales staged by students in interactive storytelling and digital PDI.
Children gain access to the newly opened library to meet and authorities attending the ceremony will be responsible for delivering library cards to students in five years.
Subsequently, the characters in the books involved in the Storytelling visit classrooms to deliver the cards to other students.
The event will end with a snack in the cafeteria, which are invited all members of school community center.

On the other hand, IES Politécnico is also celebrating the 5th week Cultural and Health from 19 to 23 April.
This institute is a pioneer in health programs, for eight years, and since the 2006-07 academic year as part of the Education Plan for Health (EPS) of the Region of Murcia 2005-2010, an initiative promoted by the Ministries of Health and Education, Training and Employment, with the aim of promoting the acquisition of healthy lifestyles.
Just today, technicians from the Department of Educaciónha have visited the school to meet the V stands for the Health Fair, open to provide information on health and make some healthy practices where students can get information to achieve greater physical, besides affective-emotional balance.
Next week continues the agenda of school activities, with the conclusion of the IES Intercultural Mediterranean Conference from 26 to 29 April.
The program this year aims to encourage social behaviors that allow a more intercultural coexistence, and to this end, a panel discussion, exhibitions, plays and workshops with wide participation of students.
