The Youth Space of the Youth Council of the City of Cartagena is added on Thursday 22 April at the 4th edition of Debate Young Europe participating in laJornada Towards a new economic and social model in Europe, held at the Auditorium of the Polytechnic University Cartagena at 9.00 pm.
In it, provide opinions on what elements should be taken into account in the future growth strategy of the EU, the role of citizens in it, the importance of education and how to combat poverty and social exclusion in Europe to celebrate 2010 as European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion.
European volunteers who are part of the Department of Youth Space from Austria, Italy, Poland and Ukraine intend to present the findings in this Day and reflections of their work framed by the theme of the debate, which explain the importance of promoting youth participation and European citizenship through European programs for young people.

With participants in the conference will be a draw for ten young people to visit the EU institutions in Brussels.
The activity is organized by the Directorate General of Local Government, Institutional and External Relations in the Region of Murcia.
