The renovation of the network of drains that are taking place in the Barrio de la Concepción forced to cut traffic on the streets Peroniño and Pius XII, by diverting through the streets Rosa and Dalia, as already reported from Traffic Bureau of the local police.
These changes will be kept for two months, time which the company expects to complete Acuamed works, involving the introduction of the pipes and scuppers that channel rainwater from the top to prevent flooding in the neighborhood.
This action is included in the Storm Interceptor Project in northern and western districts of Cartagena and is preceded by the construction of storm tanks called, like the one next to the new Health Center Barrio de la Concepción, which are repositories for the regulation of water flows from rain.
