The Bofarull Palau de Reus, was the setting last Friday of the conference organized by the Cultural Circle Cartagenero of Tarragona, on the life and work of writer and academic Cartagena Carmen Conde, to mark the centenary of his birth.
Responsible for delivering the conference was the writer and painter Cartagena, a resident of Tarragona, Damian Ximénez, and it is projected images of the places that ran the life of the illustrious academic as well as to hear the words of Carmen Conde , recorded on tape, talking about ballads and Cante de las Minas.
The event ended with the reading of several of his poems in the voice of Violet Ximénez, daughter of the lecturer, with Celtic music in the background, given the parental origin of Carmen Conde.
Accompanying all this different material was spread on the writer, assigned specifically to the act by the Board Carmen Conde-Antonio Oliver.
