The City will increase its presence at this event to be held from 15 to 18 April, with an area of 40 square meters dedicated to promoting the wide range of tourism in the city: the sun and beach, language tourism, culture and heritage
The City of Cartagena and walks alone and, in addition to their regular presence in the tourist stand in the Region of Murcia, will debut with its own stand, about 40 square meters, in the International Tourism Fair of Barcelona, held from 15 to 18 April.
The idea, as noted by the Councillor for Tourism, Javier Herrero, during the presentation of this initiative is to complement the actions we have been taking place since early this year to increase our presence in those cities, like Barcelona, with potential customers and susceptible to visit our city, and for that we give all the material information we have about our wide range of tourist.
Thus, all those people who come to the stand of Cartagena can obtain material on all the tourism products of the municipality, from the cultural and archaeological tourism or sun and sand, until the holidays, Easter or language tourism.
The formula of its own stand, moreover, could be replicated in other major fairs from now.
All this will be supported by the presence of the image of Cartagena on the Barcelona subway stations and in the monthly magazine Landscapes from the train, which appears an article about our city in every issue until the end of the year, starting in April with a special on the Roman Theatre.
Remember that Cartagena's tourist season is over by trains, metro and airport of Madrid, and now will focus on Barcelona, with the issue through the channels of RENFE, an ad twice on the routes that join the Catalan city of Murcia, from 1 April to 30 September.
