The photo contest Cartagena Modernist The first call was in a large response, with 51 participants who had a total of 160 photographs.
This is an initiative of the Regional Museum of Modern Art (Muram) located in Cartagena, and under the Directorate General of Fine Arts and Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The jury responded to quality criteria, thematic appropriateness and originality in the selection of 40 photographs.
The first prize went to 'vegetable Wink' by José Antonio Rodríguez, while the second was for 'Entangled in the past, "Julian Contreras.
The three runners-up prizes went to "Reminiscences mythological ', Pedro Alberto Belmonte," Beads of light 1', Jose Carlos Carbonell, and 'Hall 2', Nestor Lison.
Both the winning photographs are displayed as selected in the Muram until April 25.
The awards ceremony will be held at the museum on April 21, at 12:00.
