The company's prestigious and exceptional coreógrafoAkram Khan opens on Thursday 8 April, the ninth edition of the festival Removals, Encounters with the New Dance in Cartagena, with the representation of the piece Bahok, a project full of significance and scenic beauty, whose music has been made by the Indian-born British Nitin Sawnhey.
Akram Khan, the most acclaimed choreographer of his generation in the United Kingdom and one of the leading worldwide, will perform accompanied by Sawnhey and eight dancers of different nationalities in a production that combines various traditional dances for the sole purpose of creating a new and original vocabulary.
The piece will be at 21:30 am in the Nuevo Teatro Circo and she begins the Cartagena festival dedicated to contemporary dance that will last until April 17.
