On 4 April, Local Police caught four people at a farm in El Algar carrying 300 kilos of oranges in their vehicles.
Individuals to realize the presence of the agents were stopped in their attitude and to be identified Reconco who were not owners of the property.
The officers could see that about 100 kilos of oranges were inside a van, and 200 more in another vehicle.
The facts were made known to the Guardia Civil for the instruction of the relevant proceedings.
This intervention is the result of field monitoring campaign that for weeks the local police in Cartagena is taking place, to prevent and deter the criminal activities of agricultural land theft in the municipality.
By day or by night, between 4 and 6 police made continuous preventive security controls access roads to farms, where they are identified as vehicles pass by it and its drivers.
