On Monday, April 5, begins week of Guitar XI Cartagena which opens with performances by Carlos Piñana, opening the concert series, and Canizares was the culmination of the week with his flamenco origin, coinciding with the implementation at the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena specialties and flamenco guitar.
This event will take place from 5 to 11 April at the Music Conservatory of the city and will bring professionals from the world of guitar in Spain and other countries.
Besides the concert series, in which act, Piñana, Roberto Aussel, Valero-Espí Duet (soprano and guitar), Pavel Steidl and Canizares, the week will end with a series of training courses for professionals and students of guitar at all levels and, new, featured a workshop nail care and repair by Fernando Espí.
On Saturday April 10 will be held the Exhibition of Violin-Traditional Guitar, in its eleventh edition, a unique exhibit in the country with his guitar luthiers craft present, individual tests of the instruments will be exposed and even a bench where you can see step by step how to build a guitar in hand.
The hours will be from 10.00 to 14.00 and from 17.00 to 20.00.
Keep in mind that growing demand is what has made the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena this year have included Flamenco, on vocals and guitar, among its specialties, becoming in this sense in the first regional and Conservatory the second in the country professionally taught this modality.
