The Local Government Board has approved today, was on the agenda, the list of renewal and award of street stalls of the various markets in the municipality of Cartagena set out in Annual Sales Plan for 2010, a total of 1,611 posts, of which 1,456 are renewed and 155 new awards.
Of the 155 new positions awarded, 81 of the vendors first start this activity, with a total of 62 who reside in the municipality of Cartagena.
To proceed with the adjudication of the vacancies are taken into account both the reports of the various organizations representing vendors, such as the assessment criteria laid down in Article 15 of the Municipal Ordinance, such as age, number of positions of the seller, the sales activity, being a resident in Cartagena and municipality in the first place and outside it, on appeal, and sellers who start for the first time the activity of vendors in markets.
New contractors may be held from May 1 to which is mandatory prior submission of the required documentation no later than April 20.
Failure to follow the above, or are not current with their tax obligations to the City Council within the prescribed period, will cause the low seats awarded.
For each of the markets down short list of alternates, five in the markets of San Javier Rivera, Private Mediterranean and Cabo de Palos, three in four, with the exception of Llano del Beal, not having enough applications.
The list of renovation, new allocations of market stalls and small list of alternates, once approved by the Local Government Board, will be exposed to the public in the Bureau of Markets of the City of Cartagena and the municipal website for ten working days from tomorrow, Tuesday, March 30, deadline by which interested parties may make claims they deem appropriate.
EQUIPMENT FOR THE DAY CENTRE OF SORROWS
Works Day Care Center that the City is building in Los Dolores already well advanced and already thinking of the same equipment, the governing board this morning approved the proposal of Councillor for Social Care grant for 2010 of Autonomous Region to co-finance the senior center.
The total amount of the grant amounts to EUR 110,743, of which the community provides 83,057 euros (75 percent) and the city 27,686 euros (25 percent).
Today, the building already has the foundation and structure is complete and phase partition walls, it is foreseen that the works are finished in June.
The new center will have 25 seats, expandable to number 30 and the operating budget amounts to 413,567 euros.
