The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, and the next Favourite Daughter of Cartagena, María Cascales Narrow, held a meeting this morning where they have been able to review various aspects of the celebration, on April 23, the ceremony of this title Doctor of Pharmacy and research Cartagena.
The granting of this award, which will take place at 12.30 am in the Plenary Hall of the Town Hall, preceded by the opening of a dossier which was approved unanimously by the plenary of the corporation, and comes to recognize the great work Cascales in the field of biomedical research and university teaching.
In addition, María Cascales was the first woman in 1987, which was part of the Academy of Pharmacy, as with other favorite daughter of the town, Carmen Conde, at the Academy of Language.
Born on August 13, 1934, has published over 150 research papers, five books and has directed 15 doctoral theses and 13 undergraduate theses.
