The work carried out over two years in the restoration workshop for the settlement of the altarpiece of the chapel of San José de la Caridad church, have been completed and presented today by the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, Councilmember Culture, Rosario Montero, Big Brother Charity Hospital, Jose Vera and the rector of the church of La Caridad, Francisco Montesinos.
The mayor has stated that this is a fantastic restaurant that has been done by the Department of Culture and Fine Arts department and queambos have worked hard to achieve this result.
Specifically, he stressed Barreiro, the workshop has devoted about 7,000 hours of restoration work.
This altarpiece that housed the likes of the Virgin, explained Barreiro, has been covered with funds from the municipality, ie a budget of 120 thousand euros.
