The next day begins March 23 workshop for disabled people with the title of Discover your city and its customs, this action is organized by elInstituto Municipal Social Services City of Cartagena.
The Perseus Project, aims to improve social relations and group of the disabled, develop curiosity and knowledge of the environment, enhance self-esteem and improving manual and cognitive skills through workshop activities.
Participate in this first event, 15 people over 30 years, physical and sensory disabilities, during the months of March, April and May with a duration of twenty hours in the premises of the Association of St. Vincent de Paul in the street Ramón y Cajal de Cartagena.
This first workshop entitled Discover your city and its customs, is intended to ensure people with disabilities bring to the knowledge of the environment, cultural heritage and the city where you live, providing access to all sites and enabling the participation of these people in cultural and leisure activities.
The methodology is based on active participation and always adapting to disabilities and opportunities for recipients, seeking that this experience will be enriching and recreational activities, was performed 5 classroom theory sessions, 2 hours, 5 sessions of 3 hours of practice length paths from different places, alternating weekly every Tuesday for a practice session.
