The director general of the Ministry of Defense Infrastructure, Mónica Melle, and the rector of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Felix Faure, today signed an agreement for the rehabilitation of the old barracks door Seamanship Training, which next year celebrates the centennial of its construction.
The Ministry of Defence, the Autonomous Community of Murcia and Cartagena University in May 2005 signed an agreement for the rehabilitation of the former headquarters and its subsequent use by all three institutions, although it did not include the entrance area -gate and guardhouse.

This task will be addressed by the University, although the Ministry of Defence will contribute to the financing of the work, expected to be completed by the end of this year.
