The Technical University of Cartagena will host the seminars
A total of 72 experts in diving Working Group of the NATO Underwater, Underwater Diving Working Group (UDWG) - will meet in Cartagena from 22 to 25 March to study the various aspects of the dive, the underwater environment and underwater medicine, and the standardization of publications and procedures, and new technologies and projects in these areas.
Attend this meeting multinational allied delegations from 16 countries (Germany, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, USA, Spain, Estonia, France, Great Britain, Greece, Holland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal and Turkey), and two of Euro-Atlantic Partnership countries (Russia and Sweden).
The organization of events run by the Dive Center of the Navy (CBA), based at Naval Station La Algameca (Cartagena).
To address the different branches of jurisdiction, the Working Group will be distributed at seminars, which will meet in premises donated by the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
In addition to intervening in the program of presentations and discussions, delegates have the opportunity to visit an exhibition of underwater material of the most important sector, installed at the Museum of Underwater Archaeology Cartagena (ARQUA).
They will also make a tour of the city, during which they will be received at City Hall.
