Last week a meeting was held between UPyD Cartagena and the Association of Young Researchers.
UPyD expressed support for the claims raised by the Association of Young Researchers of Cartagena and the Federation of Young Researchers, integrated into the Platform for Research, who claim the central and regional governments a change in the production model with a commitment to strategy of knowledge through research and innovation, as opposed to clear depletion of the growth model based on the construction.
In this sense, the Young Researchers sent us your request for a State Pact for Science and Research to boost a real increase in public resources and private sector R & D + I, and a better design and planning research career with adequate human resources policy that encourages the promotion and stabilization of the researchers.
In addition, the meeting agreed to establish mechanisms for collaboration by both parties, both for information and dissemination of the positions of the Association, as joint participation in public events such as roundtables, symposia, debates etc.
In this regard, the Association is organizing a conference for the month of May which will involve UPyD.
