The group San Ginés de Cartagena was the winner of the XXIX Festival of Song Scoutque Regional held Saturday, with the participation of 2,000 young people from early in the morning developed activities in different places of the port city.
San Ginés group, will be responsible for representing the region in the Scout Song Festival to be held in Lorca in May next year.
The great tradition of scouting in Cartagena has been key to the time that the Scout Association of Murcia chose this city for the celebration of the XXIX edition of the festival scout.
The meeting was held first thing in the morning with various activities and games distributed groups by age into four squares, such as Jose Maria Artes, Juan XXIII, San Francisco and the Plaza del Rey.
To finish the day all the young people gathered in the Plaza Héroes de Cavite, near the port, where they performed the songs competing in the Festival.
