Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto, was yesterday charged with receiving, at the Palace Hall, a group of European teachers participating in the project 'Academy' of transnational mobility aimed at teachers of Training and Employment Guidance.
Since 2005, the Directorate General of Vocational Training, is participating in this project by sending two teachers each year to two European countries designated by the Ministry of Education.
This year 2010 will live in Slovenia and the United Kingdom two teachers in our community but also for the first time in this program, come professors from other countries who are here this week until 12 March.
They are 9 teachers from five countries: France, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the UK.
The purpose of educational exchange is to know the implementation and development of Vocational Training in the Region of Murcia, currently being integrated formal VET system and VET-oriented Education to Employment.
For this reason we have arranged visits not only to schools but to schools belonging to the SEF (Department of Employment and Training).
Specifically, in Cartagena will visit the National Center for Occupational and Polytechnic Secondary School SEF new units, recently opened.
