Born in Bilbao in August 1957, Carmen García Iglesias has a degree in Art History from the University Complutense of Madrid and has studied commercial art at the School of Applied Arts and Crafts in Madrid.
Writer and illustrator of children's literature, he began his professional career drawing for children stickers and cutouts, then start writing and illustrating books and stories.

He has also conducted activities to encourage reading in primary schools.
