The Vice Chancellor for Student and University Extension, Francisco Martínez, inaugurated this morning the second edition of the classic sailing course sailing in the XXI century.
The Hall of the National Museum of Underwater Archaeology (ARQUA) has welcomed the inauguration of Classic Sailing Course Sailing in the XXI century, which has operated the course director and lecturer at the School of Naval Engineering José Esteban Otto Oceanic and Tortosa, after viewing a video which showed images of the previous edition of the course held last year.
The course will train forty students on issues related to the history of navigation, a trainee on board ships and gaff sail lateen sail, as well as content related to riverine woodworking, design and manufacture of candles and the restoration of boat old.
