Barreiro stressed however that is recording a deceleration in the growth of unemployment, since 2007, since January 2008, the rise was 5.5 percent compared to 4.3 percent of that same month 2009.
By sector, unemployment has fallen slightly over the last month in the industry that has grown from 1,563 to 1,553 unemployed, and construction, which rose from 4,513 to 4,465 unemployed, with the highest unemployment in the service sector.
