The Patullo Environment Cartagena Local Police has launched a campaign to control noise on mopeds and motorcycles between 15 and 28 February in order to eliminate excess noise generated by such vehicles.
Measurements of noise control and verification have been conducted throughout the county, specifically in the extension of Juan Fernandez, the Plaza Maria Cristina, Carretera del Barrio Peral and Avenida Reina Victoria, with a total of 30 vehicles, including motorcycles and motorcycles inspected.
Of these inspections, 10 gave rise to the complaint for violating the noise ordinance and vibration, 2 of them being restrained and taken to the impound lot for exceeding 10 decibels over the limit.
The remaining vehicles will be reported to appear for a second inspection at the Park Security, do not it will be opened disciplinary proceedings against the owners.
