The General Union of Workers (UGT) of the District of Cartagena held in the day yesterday its Seventh Congress District, which Fulgencio Andreu, a former member of the Community Sector Public Services Federation (PSF) of UGT Cartagena, became the new Secretary General of the Region with 67.39% of the vote.
The Hotel Alfonso XIII Cartagena hosted the event, which began at 17:30 hours and that included the presence and participation of the President of the Confederation of Business Organizations Regional de Cartagena (COEC), Diego Illán, the Provincial Director of Service Public Employment Service (SPEE), Jose Ramon Perez, the Secretary General of UGT Union Valley Regional Guadalentín, Antonio Fernández, and Secretary General of the Federation of Public Services (FES) of UGT Murcia, Pedro Canovas .
How could it be otherwise, Manuela Hernández, until yesterday, Secretary General of UGT Cartagena, presented his annual report of the Cartagena region pointing to the significant increase in the number of members who have won the union in the area and the number of delegates every day, representing workers in the region.
Thus, Hernandez said that today, UGT has 47% of delegates and CCOO to 37%.
In this regard, Hernandez, who now heads the Regional Secretariat for Institutional Policies UGT, said the "line of special education have continued to trade union delegates, why we may have increased in number, the position of those of CCOO.
