The coordinator of IU in Cartagena, Jaime Cayetano Molto, has positively valued today that the town has a health center in the Old Town but has criticized the delay in its construction, because "it was planned for more than 12 years."
"It has taken longer to make the new center that built the Wall of Carlos III", emphasized Jaime Molto, who has stated that although this infrastructure is "positive" for the resort, there are still problems in hospitals as lack of hospital beds and waiting lists.
With regard to St Lucia, said he is "not clear" that it becomes an element that guarantees the improvement of the quality of care and ensured that the management plan of public health in Cartagena "is undefined" .
