The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, has received in the early hours this afternoon at the Palace Hall to Board of Directors of Enagas, headed by President Antonio Llardén.
The visit took place after the conclusion of the workshop that have kept the directors of the company's headquarters Cajamurcia at the Palace Pedreńo of Cartagena.
This meeting was held in Cartagena, promoted by Carlos Egea Krauel, Cajamurcia president and member of the Board of Directors of Enagas, interested in publicizing their historical and artistic attractions, especially the Teatro Romano, whose recovery has collaborated with the City Cartagena and the Autonomous Community.
ENAGÁS IN THE REGION OF MURCIA
Enagás account in Cartagena with a regasification plant, which in 2009 served 20 years.
The terminal has four storage tanks of liquefied natural gas (LNG) with a total capacity of 437,000 m3 and an emission capacity of 1,350,000 Nm3 / h.
Since June 2009 the plant is ready to receive LNG tankers world's largest, up to 263,000 m3.
In addition, Enagás has in the Region of Murcia 340 km high pressure pipeline and transportation hub in Santomera.
PROJECTS
Currently, the regasification plant is under construction Cartagena fifth LNG storage tank of 150,000 m3.
With an investment of approximately EUR 100 million, its launch is planned for late 2010.
As for gas, the construction project is the splitting of the Cartagena-Agullent of 187 km in length.
In total, the planned investment of Enagas in the Murcia region until 2014 is about 124 million euros.
