Last Wednesday, February 17, the Councillor for Youth, Ruth Maria Collado, and the councilman of Social Care, Antonio Calderon, inaugurated Implica2 LOOK.
This photographic exhibition will be open in the new premises of Informnajoven until Friday 12 March.
The exhibition includes works that I emerged from the Social Photography Workshop Implica2 Program, youth social participation, which organized the Space Jovende the Youth Council in collaboration with the Social deAtención.
The main novelty of this exhibition is that you can see inside Informajoven facilities and also from outside, from the sidewalk.
In this opening ceremony, the Selectmen made the presentation of diplomas to the participants of this experience, and were attended by Francisco José Sánchez Montalbán, monitor responsible for delivering the workshop, a social anthropologist and professor of photography at the School of Fine Arts at the University of Granada.
In turn, participants in this experiment could explain the municipal representatives who were present the meaning of their work and their photos.
LOOK The workshop aimed to teach Implica2 see photography as a tool of social intervention, as a witness of what surrounds us and as a tool for citizen participation.
And also, as a possibility for young people involved in Implica2, to share with the rest of the public the reality that surrounds them.
This initiative has enjoyed the cooperation of the Municipal Volunteer Program, the Directorate General of Immigration and Volunteer of the Ministry of Social Policy of the Autonomous Community and the Youth Council of Cartagena.
