The Office of Local Police Traffic Cartagena has developed a plan to reorganize the traffic at the entrance to Royal Street for the works of paved road which is scheduled to perform, if the weather permits, from 22 to February 24.
The Councillor for Citizen Security, Javier Herrero, has been commissioned to present a device designed to reduce as far as possible inconvenience to drivers, which will take place in three phases and will have 15 players that are permanently in the vicinity of the street to divert traffic to alternative routes, information campaign to be completed with signage on major thoroughfares, staff assistance and work continuously updated information on the municipal website.
The first phase of paving will begin on Monday February 22 at the Cruzeiro in regard to the port, is scheduled to begin between 9.00 and 10.00 hours after the Arsenal staff input and the shops are cut full access to the same, lasting until mid-afternoon performance.
From the port will be accessible to vehicles that address the parking to the Plaza del Par.

Drivers will find billboards warning of the traffic court on Calle Real in advance in the Plaza de la Isla (accessible through the Port) in Peroniño Street (access from the Barrio de la Concepción), on Calle San Basilio (access from the Alameda de San Antón) and the streets which lead directly to the paved area, such as Street Children, Oven, Marco Redondo, Tolosa Latour, Menéndez Pelayo and Bachelor Cascales.
There will also be in addition to the local police directing traffic, site personnel to allow access to the garages that are not affected by the asphalt and placed billboards showing the cutting paths of alternative-route traffic in the Cuatro Caminos Roundabout and the junction 332 with the National Feringa Sebastian Street.
Smith also noted that during the last days of paving tasks can access the parking Par Square and Plaza del Rey, although by different routes.
