The president of the Community, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, chaired today the act of homage to the employer Gines Huertas, who died last year and held in the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Cartagena.
At the event, Valcárcel was presented with the Gold Medal of the institution to the widow of businessman Cartagena, Pilar Suanzes.
The tribute was attended by the entire Board of Governors of the Cartagena Chamber of Commerce and attended by businessmen across the region, relatives and friends of the deceased.
In addition, the chairman of the House, Mariano Rosique gave him a family portrait of the honoree.
Ginés Huertas was a member of the board of this institution for many years and, as noted Valcárcel, "one of the major drivers of major social and economic projects that have helped transform the city of Cartagena."
