About 400 students of IES Las Salinas del Mar Menor participated yesterday in the days of physical disability awareness.
These activities took place on a circuit that simulated the streets of a city and it reflected the various difficulties that typically exist for the disabled.
This conference organized by the IES, covered by the project 9 months, 9 cases have enjoyed the cooperation of the IDEAS program of the Youth Council.
This act came Ruth Maria Collado, Councillor for Youth, along with the president of FAMDIF Cartagena, Pedro Orta.
The Association has made FAMDIF awareness campaign on two separate lines.
On the one hand, there was a circuit that plays a city with all the obstacles that a disabled person can find.
It was at that stage, where students had to go that route traveling in a wheelchair or blindfolded and fitted with a white cane.
About 130 students from the ESO passed through this circuit.
And second, Emilio Cano, responsible FAMDIF Accessibility Murcia, gave two lectures on Disability and Access to 250 students of Bachelor.
ACTIVITIES 9 MONTHS 9 CAUSES
9 months, 9 cases is the pseudonym under which they are structured activities of an educational and fun both inside and outside of the IES.
Some have been made: a visit to the exhibition of the bicentenary of Louis Braille in collaboration with ONCE, visit the recycling plant as the Gorguel way to learn to recycle, a healthy breakfast for the whole school to promote food healthy, ananda helped to understand the world of people with hearing impairments.
Still to do activities such as the month without snuff, the month of books and of sustainable mobility, which will focus on the promotion of cycling.
