The municipal technical meeting of the Region that took place today in Cartagena is settled with the conclusion that the line of work must be directed to cut red tape for aid to arrive as soon as possible dependent persons and their families
We intend to streamline procedures and remove obstacles in the files of grant applications by dependents and their families, and for that we give you the training and knowledge about the law to social workers, who are what they are in charge of day to day of this whole issue, said the councilman of Social Care, Antonio Calderon in the statements following the meeting of municipal technicians of Social Services took place this morning in Cartagena to discuss the technical aspects of the implementation of Law Unit.
In it, convened by the Office for the Unit of the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration officials have participated several municipalities in the Region, such as Cartagena, Fuente Alamo, La Union, Los Alcazares, Mazarrón, San Javier, San Pedro and Torre Pacheco.
According to the director of the Office, Miguel Angel Miranda, the city of Cartagena has a very good percentage in regard to resolution of cases to handle aid going almost daily, and these meetings are necessary to maintain coordination and unification of criteria.
So necessary these meetings that today is only the first of four to be held over the coming months to coordinate the implementation of the measures set out in law.
