The coordinator of IU in Cartagena, Victoria Rodriguez, today expressed doubts over whether the regional government will finally choose for the Santa Maria del Rosell Hospital and St. Lucia to become independent in terms of management, planning and resources.

Rodriguez has been referred to the statements of Deputy Maria Dolores Soler CP in which it ensures that Rosell be independent, after which said that "the Popular Party is still committed to complementary health services."

It has therefore demanded that health planning within the area II contemplates the independent operation of the two centers, with services and resources to ensure "once and for all the citizens of Cartagena will have a comprehensive health care and quality.
