With a score of 90.737 out of 100 in the opinion prepared by the Institute, Cartagena Foundation for Teaching Spanish language and culture is attested to enter the network of the city that will bring students from around the world
Less than a year ago that the Governing Body of the Foundation of Cartagena for the Teaching of Spanish Language and Culture, chaired by the Councillor for Culture, Rosario Montero, met to begin their journey to join the network Centers of Instituto Cervantes.
This week, another meeting of the Foundation, were pleased by the success.
Thus, Cartagena has collected the opinion that confirms the ability of the Foundation to become an Associate of the Institute Cervantes Center, after all course work to meet the requirements, he has received in the municipality, a representative of that institution .
The overall score of 90 percent over 100, thus provides evidence that the courses are offered by the Foundation and will be very important both inside and outside of Spain.
Soon, the City of Cartagena and the Cervantes Institute are expected to sign an agreement to formalize the incorporation into the network of Centres.
Meanwhile, the Foundation will continue working to fulfill the remaining goals.
Among these are to offer general language courses and special courses related to different fields of professional activity, encourage students to opt Foundation diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE), title of the Ministry of Education and Science and recognition of the Foundation as DELE centreo; promote adequate room for students to participate in courses, promote student attendance Spanish courses in cultural dissemination activities.
Since 2007 an agreement was signed between the Language Institute, the City of Cartagena, the Ministry of Tourism, Cajamurcia, UPCT and the Cervantes Institute, have given courses to about 470 students.
