Local Development Agency and Employment of the City of Cartagena has organized the second edition of Barrios-ADLE Program, which this time moves to Cabo de Palos, and Mills Marfagones Pozo Estrecho, where will the help of neighborhood associations.
The deadline for registration to participate in training activities will remain open until 26 February, the program itself starting on 1 March.
The main objective is to facilitate the participation of the unemployed in the actions of active job search, with the aim of raising awareness, guidance and training to the unemployed in methods to improve accessibility to employment.
The program consists of two parts:
1 º Shares of orientation and training for active job searching: tools and methods specific Job Search (curriculum vitae, prepare an interview, how to find work online, competencies and skills for the job, how) This phase is designed for 30 people per district.
2 º Workshop Maintenance Occupational work in the neighborhood, for 8 selected from the initial 30.
This workshop will be a grant of 10 euros a day, a duration of 2 months and will be held in the mornings from 9:00 to 14:00.
Depending on the needs identified in each hamlet, these workshops will develop occupational, which will give training in basic maintenance techniques for the unemployed to facilitate their entry into the labor market.
These maintenance works are carried out in the same neighborhoods, which encourages the motivation of these people, who can see their efforts reflected in her area.
The first edition of this program was completed with great success and satisfaction for users and residents of the Santa Lucia, Slum Latin America and the Aljorra.
