Mandarache Project, organized by the Youth Council continues with its program of meetings with the author, this time with a visit to Cartagena from the prolific writer Casalderrey Fina, Hache Prize finalist for his novel The dove and the slain (Anaya, 2008 .)
On this occasion, besides the morning meetings with readers who do all the writers, the author maintained a symposium at 16.00 hours with young people in the Intercultural Center of Los Dolores.
This activity is conducted in collaboration with the Department of Social Services, which has promoted the establishment of committees of reading among teenagers from different cultural backgrounds with whom they work.
Intercultural Centers aim to create spaces of encounter between youth from different countries doing leisure and free time, knowledge of cultures, tolerance and universal values.
