Fire Department Staff Cartagena came early this morning to put out a fire that occurred at 1.39 hours on the second floor of number 22, Duke Street, which was empty, affecting the upper floor, which were three children, a baby and her mother, and three other adults living in the building had gotten out on their own.
The large amount of black smoke rising over the balcony was the one who sounded the alarm.
While two of the firefighters extinguished the blaze, which was quickly controlled and extinguished completely, two proceeded to review the third floor and roof, evacuating those still in the building.
The search was hampered by heavy smoke and fire that gave off calories.
The victims were located in different parts of the house, protected from smoke, locked in their rooms.
