The Director General of Planning and Housing, Antonio Navarro, accompanied by the Town Planning and Sustainable Development of Cartagena, Joaquin Mowing, today visited the rehabilitation work that the Ministry of Public Works and Land Management is running in several old buildings Cartagena, a performance that will help to restore the historical heritage of the city.

The works are part of the Comprehensive Conservation Plan and Adequacy of Facades, Roofing and Wall Displays, which includes a total of 15 performances in the old town of Cartagena through investment of two million euros from the regional government.

During the visit, Navarro said that "in 2009, seven buildings have been built and one is currently running" and said that "during 2010 is provided for the rehabilitation of seven buildings, whose works are expected to begin after Easter Santa. "

In addition to these actions, Navarro also visited the district of Santa Lucia, where he carried out the architectural improvement efforts in an area declared as an Area of Integrated Rehabilitation (ARI), which is due to remodeling of a hundred houses.

A hundred architects choose to contest the Plaza de Molina
