Pilar Barreiro Mayor sent his counterpart in Cartagena de Indias, Judith Pinedo, a letter of condolences on the death of Etelvina Maldonado, Cartagena artist of 79 who was a real institution of Colombian music and going to participate in the next edition of the Sea Music Festival.

Etelvina was born on April 25, 1930 in a small town on the island of Baru in Cartagena Bay.
