Youth Councillor, Ruth Maria Collado, received this afternoon at the Palace Hall of Cartagena and 14 Norwegian students and 2 teachers belonging to the institute Bjorgvin Videregënde Skole in Bergen, who are sharing the city with the IES Admiral Bastarreche.
The visitors are aged between 18 and 21 and studying professional Family Personal Image, the specialty of Aesthetic training module taught at the IES Bastarreche Almirante Cartagena for over a dozen courses.
The objectives of the exchange are essentially didactic, academic and socio-cultural.
To this end we have organized a series of workshops which will be released and exchanged frequent aesthetic techniques, using English to communicate.
It has also been included in the schedule visits to the most significant of Cartagena to know the city and free time to acquire an overview of the lifestyle and customs of its people.
This meeting is to lay the groundwork for future discussions with the institute or other, within the European mobility programs, in which students could also participate in any of the modules taught at the IES Admiral Bastarreche, for example, those Fishing attending.
So far there have been only two exchanges with students from Tours (France) and were promoted by the Ministry of Education Murcia through its International Relations Department.
