The President of the Association of Graphic Information Region, Juan Francisco Moreno, today met with the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, to strengthen journalism through various activities.
At the meeting, Juan Francisco Moreno has stated that it made, about Carlos Gallego Photography Contest Photojournalism, which this year is convened at the national level, activities related to photojournalism, such as conducting round tables, workshops and conferences.
Competition around the axis of Carlos Gallego, Moreno has confirmed that aims to create an entity that enhances photojournalism in the region and is a national reference from the Region of Murcia and from Cartagena.
Juan Francisco Moreno recalled that about 30 people formed the Association of Graphic and added information that are currently receiving applications from people working in the photography world to join the association.
Also, Moreno has explained that the Professional Photographers Association to help promote photojournalism in the region and improve it for example as far as part of new school of journalistic practice that has been created in the information school at the University Murcia.
The president of the association has stressed he is confident that the problem of photographers can be solved through the Bologna Process and that people interested in photography to do well formed from the academic perspective.
