The Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Cartagena on Thursday held a new conference 'Business Class', had as its rapporteur Jorge Calvet, chairman of Gamesa, who spoke on "Wind energy: An element of competitiveness and industry leadership Spanish' in the Hall of Ceremonies of the Roman Theatre Museum.

Jorge Calvet Spinach has a degree in Law and Business Administration (ICADE), having completed his training at New York University (NYU Stern School of Management) where he obtained an MBA in Finance.
His professional career has developed in the field of business banking in New York, London and Madrid where he held top level positions in organizations such as Morgan Stanley, UBS and Fortis.
In 2005 he founded the company Noqca Partners, financial advisory body that advised France Telecom, in the process of purchase of Amena.
Formed also part of other boards of directors and the Spanish Press SA, Antena 3TV, TESA (workshop Publishers SA) and France Telecom Spain, SA
Currently holds the position of Executive Chairman and CEO of Gamesa TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION, SA a leading wind turbine manufacturers worldwide leader in Spain in the manufacture, sale and installation of wind turbines.
