Technical Coastal Authority, Ministry of Environment and Coastal Services Institute of the City of Cartagena have visited this afternoon the beach of Cala Cortina and old batteries coast of San Isidro and Santa Florentina, to collaborate in improving access and cleaned up the area.
In particular, the demarcation is proceeding to clear and recent demolition of buildings found in the coastal batteries, as the old guard post, bathing facilities or wards of the officers and NCOs.
The aim is to ensure better maintenance and preservation of original historic buildings.
For its part, the Council aims to improve and fix the current shipping lane that connects these batteries is Cala Cortina and agree with the Demarcation new infrastructure improvements and services on the beach, the unique urban character that exists in the city.
