The town's 2010 Carnival will feature carnival groups sister Colombian city of Cartagena de Indias and the different actions participacipación choreographic groups in the Pavilion of Jiménez de la Espada.

Carmen Sanchez presented the poster that won the contest with the theme Carnival of History, designed by architect Antonio León Martín de Torre Pacheco.
Sanchez explained the meaning of the sign that shows the history of Cartagena by the Duomo and the Teatro Romano on the one hand and on the other half face representing joy and celebration.
The festivities will include the 6 to 16 February.
The program will consist of interesting activities as the actions of the jokes on the streets of the city, youth concerts, carnival balls, and the performance of Estopa concert.
Children will also have a large role in this program since there will be various activities such as workshops on makeup, choosing child queen, as well as entertainment and children's costume contests.
Florentina Garcia wanted to thank the Carnival Committee and each of the components of the Family Carnival to put the sparkle, joy and color to the holidays.
