The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, will on Friday 22 January at Cartagena firemen, members of the NGO Action Fire, who will travel to Haiti to help relief work being carried out in devastated Haiti .

DEVELOPMENT AID DEPLOYMENT
The Fire Force Action is ready, and today, travelers heading to Haiti three members of the NGO, as well as a medical and health, working in the hospitals that Red Cross has already established there.

The operational coordination of Fire in Action has been conducted jointly with the Spanish Red Cross in the Dominican Republic, as well as firefighters in this country, with whom they had contact in the Hurricane Yean in 2004.
Also important was the collaboration of the Spanish Cooperation Agency, which has been in facilitating the transport of members of the NGO, as well as performing Iberia free transport equipment.
