The councilman of Social Care, Antonio Calderon, diplomas yesterday afternoon gave the students participating in the course of restaurant and bar waiter, organized by the Municipal Institute of Social Services.
16 students, all of them unemployed, have overcome this course which began on October 26 last year and ended on Monday 18 January, with 200 hours and 50 days of attendance in the classroom, from Monday to Friday from 16 : 00 to 20:00.
This training activity funded by the Regional Employment Service and Training and funded by the European Social Fund, aims to train students in order to facilitate their employment.
The Municipal Institute of Social Services City of Cartagena, has been organizing these activities since 1998, being recognized as a collaborating center of the Regional Employment Service and Training of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, organized annually for occupational training courses.
As explained Councilman Antonio Calderón Cartagena City Council and the Autonomous want to answer the great demand in the service sector in the Region of Murcia, possible by means of the necessary training courses for the unemployed working age job seekers who have not previously received any specific training on these occupations.
