The works of the Palacio de Deportes de Cartagena will resume shortly, once the City Council and construction company have agreed and have set the terms of the modified to be submitted for approval and will be an increase in 2,960,000 euros of the initial budget, which amounted to 14.9 million euros.

According to Councillor for Infrastructure, José Vicente Albaladejo, this is the last modified of the project, and is within the norm and not exceed 20 percent of the total budget, so that this initiative will resume work and, in all likely will be finished this year.

Sources of municipal technical services have indicated that this modified to increase the budget of the work is entirely justified, given lacomplejidad of the structure and composition of rounded wood that have led to complications that were not foreseen in the initial project.
