The Ministry of Public Works and Planning, through the Directorate General of Land and Housing, will fund the drafting of winning a design competition for the refurbishment of the Plaza de Molina, located in the district of Santa Lucía of Cartagena, northeast of the seaport.

According to the general director of Planning and Housing, Antonio Navarro, "now the square is a staging post for the locals, so important is to give it aesthetic and functional improvements to generate a radical change in the perception of this public space in the port city. "

The Ministry of Public Works and Planning will fund 75 percent of both the draft and the rest will be paid by the City of Cartagena, as foreseen in the call for grants for the rehabilitation of public spaces.
