Local Development Agency and Employment (ALDE) of Cartagena has obtained the approval of the draft employment workshop Care unit with a total funding of more than 667,000 euros.

For its implementation it has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration, through the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS).

Employment Workshop Care Unit aims at training 32 people desempleadasdurante a year.

It is funded by the Agency of Local Development and Employment of Cartagena, the Regional Employment Service and Training of the Autonomous Community of Murcia and the European Union through the European Social Fund.

Employment Workshops are included in measures to support employment creation and configured as a mixed employment and training targeting unemployed twenty-five or more years.

Participating workers acquire vocational and job training by performing work or services of public utility or social interest related to new employment sites, allowing their subsequent job placement both paid employment through the creation of business projects or social economy.

TRAINING

Participants at the Workshop on Job Care Unit will be trained as assistants in the care of dependent people in social institutions.

Will be given 1,920 hours of classes, which include theoretical and practical work.

Work practice will be held at the Center for Disability Services Occupational Quarries (Cartagena).

This was made possible by the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Agency of Local Development and Employment of Cartagena and the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration, through the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS).

In addition to specific training as assistants care for dependents, it will also provide training in risk prevention, information technology, environmental awareness, job seeking and entrepreneurship.

The beginning of the employment workshop is scheduled for next December.

At the end of it, participants will receive a certificate stating the duration in hours and the level of theoretical training and practical experience training modules taken.
