The Social Council of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena has approved this morning definitely UPCT budgets for 2010.
The budget amounts to almost 62 million euros, an increase of 6.6%.
The budget increase is the result of the increase in current transfers from the autonomous region, amounting to 38.4 million euros, a 8.76% increase this year.
It also increases the transfer of capital of the Autonomous Region in 2.89% to reach 14 million euros.
State contributions equally recorded an increase of 14.3%.
The actual investment for the next year grow by 4.8% to reach 15 million euros.
The 2010 budget is characterized by a significant increase in investment associated with research, strong support to the implementation of new technologies and efforts of austerity in current spending.
During the meeting have reported the Vice-Chancellors Professors, Academic and European Convergence and Quality.
There has been an updated inventory report from the UPCT heritage, and the degree of implementation of Budget 2009.
Have also been approved prices for the occupation of public spaces and local college.
At the beginning of the meeting has taken office as a member of Social José Sánchez Vera, representing the Chamber of Commerce.
