Politécnica de Cartagena held on Friday, December 18, a INTERCULTURAL DAY.
This act act is framed in the Intercultural Education Programme A school open to other cultures, funded by the Department of Education and Social Care and has also collaboration with Caja Mediterráneo.
The INTERCULTURAL DAY at the eleventh hour will begin with a breakfast Intercultural where many different flavors from around the world and the essence cuisine from various countries will be present.
At noon there will be a Gala Intercultural where students take the leading role developing the art of different cultures.
It will be a good opportunity to raise awareness of cultural identity and merge with those of other colleagues.
It will offer a concert of African percussion, Intercultural Dance, poetry, Flamenco, Rap, World Costume Parade and other activities.
The Seminar will be chaired by the Councillor for Education, Maroto Josefa Gomez, who will be accompanied by representatives of the Directorate General for Promotion and Educational Innovation of the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment, the President of the FAPA-Cartagena, Emilio Bernal, CPR by the director of Cartagena-La Union and Mediterranean Fund representatives and the director of IES.
