The painter Antonio Barceló Cartagena presents two exhibitions at the Palais Molina Jara Street Gallery and the square bezel, which reasa his 40 year career.
Antonio Barceló first exhibited his works in the hall of the Chamber of Commerce of Cartagena in 1969.
Today 40 years ago to commemorate the anniversary and with this exhibition, as said, not an anthology but wanted to show your first and last book to see who is active and is not going to retire.
The artist's works are divided into two rooms of the Palace Molina.
In the first room is his first work of 1969, and ten more that are of the same exhibition, as well as his first full season until the end to the collages.
On the other hand, in the second room there are pictures that called Mediterranean Suite.
Barceló recalled that he began painting figurative, like most artists, reaching abstraction and somehow now returns to figuration.
Although it has been emphasized that it is not proper figuration in his work as a mixture of both states.
Despite this, the artist has said his most important time is the removal lyrical and did not want to expose as it did thirteen years ago in Caja Murcia.
Barceló exposure has been shown in unpremeditated coincidence of his early paintings are of Mojácar and Ibiza, with the latter, South Suite, both of which provide an environment in the Mediterranean.
OPENING AND EXHIBITIONS
The inauguration will take place in the evening, at 19.30 pm in the Palais Molina, and 20.30, in the gallery bezel.
Both exhibitions will be open until 10 February at the Palacio Molina, and until 15 January at the gallery bezel.
